Our AGM & Convention brings together over 320 chamber of commerce executives and community business leaders to discuss the economic and political issues that affect the prosperity of Canadian business. This event enables our member chambers to become more relevant and successful advocates for their communities. It is also THE opportunity for chambers of commerce to present their member businesses’ key concerns to our cross-country network. The resolutions adopted pave the way to foster a stronger economic environment for business and will be presented to the federal government and shape our public policy objectives for the upcoming year.
This year's program featured a Chambers Competition, discussions about the federal election - party platforms, predictions and what those outcomes mean for Canadian business - and digital advocacy, our annual policy resolution debates and plenty of East Coast hospitality.
2019 is a year to celebrate!
Happy to have celebrated two important milestones: the anniversary of our very first AGM, which was held in Saint John in 1926, and the 200th anniversary of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, our gracious and enthusiastic host.

Conference registration fees for delegates and spouses are fully refundable up until Aug. 21. From Aug. 22 to Sept. 6, registration fees are refundable, subject to a $200 (+ 15% HST) cancellation fee. After Sept. 6, registration fees are non-refundable. Gala tickets sales are non-refundable.
