B20 Coalition Members' Presidents

As some of you may know, I preside over the B20 Coalition, a group that brings together leading independent business associations from G20 economies in a shared mission to address G20 policy-makers on behalf of more than 6.5 million businesses of all sizes and from all sectors. I’d like to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on the B20 Coalition.

The B20 Coalition gathered in Paris earlier this year to release its Global Business Outlook for 2014. This document highlights the primary concerns of the global business community and presents the Coalition’s shared perspective on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The B20 Coalition has defined four main priorities for 2014: trade and investment; fiscal responsibility; energy, and infrastructure. In addition, the Coalition will work on a fifth topic—the digital economy—which it sees as an area with significant potential for economies across the globe. All five of these issues will be the focus of a range of initiatives and recommendations during the next 10 months.
