On December 1, this year’s Crystal Ball Symposium was held at Ottawa’s Rideau Club. Over dinner, with the Canadian Chamber’s Board of Directors and Canada’s leading public servants, experts provided their insights into the emerging trends, developments and issues that will have the greatest impact on Canadian business in the upcoming year. A panel, moderated by President and CEO Perrin Beatty, included three leading figures from business and academia who discussed how the global economy, key technology trends and geo-political developments will shape our world next year.

Highlights from the disucssion will be summarized in a report that will be released in late December.
