Did you know? 70% of Canadian organizations have fallen victim to a cyber-attack in the last year. Microsoft has extended Small Business Week into a full month to help Canadian SMEs learn business self-defence tools this October, which coincides with Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

With the support of numerous Chambers of Commerce, Boards of Trade and professional associations, Microsoft will hold business self-defence events across the country this October—all designed to help raise awareness of digital threats and teach businesses how to defend themselves from harm.

In addition to reaching small and medium-sized businesses through in-person events, they are publishing daily content for businesses to share with their employees. It is Microsoft’s hope that you will help them amplify this very important message.
