Ottawa, August 23, 2017 – The Canadian Chamber of Commerce welcomes Jackie King as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Jackie brings us impressive experience in strategic communications, business administration and investor relations. She will be a tremendous asset to our work on behalf of Canadian business,” said the Hon. Perrin Beatty, President and CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. King started her career as an intern at Hill + Knowlton over 18 years ago, working her way up to Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Ottawa in 2013. In addition to her expertise in all facets of communications, Ms. King has built a reputation as an accomplished team and business leader. She sits on the boards of directors of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and International Women’s Forum Canada and is a member of community advisory committee of the Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre.
“I'm excited about joining the Canadian Chamber, which provides a strong voice for Canadian business that's needed now more than ever. I'm joining a great team, and my goal is to help make it even better,” said Ms. King.
Ms. King’s responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Canadian Chamber’s more than 200,000-member network. She officially joins the Canadian Chamber on September 25.
